How can someone(or many people)be so..?
This semester in school is hellish for me.
I have to remind myself that I'm not a 'Post-It' because I am being used by others in a class of unfamiliar(and unfriendly) faces.
I foolishly think that each time someone from my class stays beside me, I have hopes of getting to be good friends or hanging around and with him/her/them.
It's only when I get disposed of and they don't even show the slightest hint of looking at where they throw me off.
I don't stick to them for long like a Post-It either because I have my pride on being independent sometimes.
The little good habits and etiquette of social relationships found among us hardly exist in my class.
Business students sometimes behave too corporate-ly(materially). Perhaps so is the world today.

I guess I was lucky to be reminded that I've a blog before I openly slammed/complained about some people here, giving obvious answers to the identities of the ones I'm referring to.
It made me think twice when the person who reminded me could be the one I'm complaining about/who can inform the person I've backstabbed.

The days are finally over~
Can't bear to leave the Matric Fair committee..
Great to have known all of them.
It was definitely a different experience for me since most of the team were guys and Indonesians(they are a nice and easygoing gang).
Surprisingly, I felt comfortable talking to them.
Our team of people are a selfless lot and our 'slumber parties' at night were fun with games, pranks,forfeits and heart-to-heart talk(I didn't get left out this time of course).
It was as though a taiwanese variety game show just came alive~
Kevin suggested telling our Project director on the 3rd night that he was quitting MF as his forfeit.
His acting was great btw cos Elene got freaked out(someone from NUSSU welfare told me this is the worse situation Elene fears)~
Hendry and Sodoko prank-called the PROs audrey and felicia (both of them weren't staying over in school with us) respectively by getting them to say the word 'Romantic'.
Sodoko: If someone says I love you to you, the person is ___?
Felicia:*mumbles and complains why he called at midnight*..Retarded?

I also got a forfeit after an unusual 'pointing' game adapted from what AAA did before.
We spinned the bottle and the person could ask questions like 'Who do you think...'
We didn't understand each other very well(especially for those of us who only knew each other because of MF) so whoever we will pointing at was pretty random.
I got the most number of 'points' for 'Who do you think looks most different after a makeover?'
So the next day, I was forced to sign up for a free-of-charge hair makeover at the Loreal booth.
The girls enjoyed the hair makeovers and I'm the last one to go for it(with much reluctance).
The guys also went though we couldn't see the difference for some of them and they were more persistent in making sure that I got the makeover=.=
The worse thing is that my friends who turned up that day didn't leave after my makeover(I thought they were gone already) and they managed to see me with my new curls=0_0=
But I got compliments:)
I think this is one of the few moments in my life that I felt touched that everyone was fussing over me.
This may be superficial but this is memorable for someone who is usually not in the limelight.

Today was the clearing up day where we moved the stuff back.
Singtel abandoned Lee Min Ho at MPSH2.
So we started playing with him.
And the worse thing is the guys played with him more lol(hugging and lip-pouting)
My younger sister says that the standee is so contaminated after hearing this.
We have decided how to deal with Lee Min Ho.
We certainly didn't dump him.

NUS Matriculation Fair 2010/2011 is starting soon(officially on 22/7)!
I'm no longer a freshman soon:)
From tomorrow onwards till 28th, I'm going to be busy with Maric Fair since I'm liaising with the CCAs~
Going to camp/stay over in school since transportation will be costly and time-consuming..
I'm looking forward to getting a goodie bag:D
We will also be having the nescafe and heaven&earth green tea sponsors near our security booth:D
This will mean we can have both coffee and tea since the dipensers are going to be nearby!!

Went to the Singapore Garden Festival today~
We(zuqing & I) managed to pay the concession rate at $4.50 instead of $8~
Watched 'Despicable Me' at Cathay AMK as well.
Cathay has the best 3D effects!

Helloo!
I haven't been blogging for 4 months?!
The 3 month vacation is great but I'm not taking any jobs because of NUS Matric Fair.
[NUS Matric Fair is the event freshmen get marticulated into NUS; it is simply the day registration takes place;but I'm in charge of PR stuff with the clubs and societies]
So with no job and no money(in additional to lousy college academic results), I have to take up other stuff to be on par with my fellow friends who have signed job contracts(and who have earned enough to pay half of their annual college fees; and who are complaining about awkward lunch times and no life)
So to spruce up my resume, which was the main purpose of participating in Matric Fair,I've took up Korean language and driving lessons=.=
I wanted to sign up for Japanese lessons too but I'm already lost during the 2nd Korean lesson.
This coming saturday is going to be the 3rd Korean lesson and I'm having a briefing for the 'CCAs' participating in Matric Fair before that.
I'm going dress like Geum Jan Di on that day!
So my holidays are now filled with a weekly routine of brushing up for Korean before saturday class each week and mugging for Basic Theory Test for driving.
In addition,I am aiming to create felt art pieces, sew a handbag, clutch and all kinds of accessories!:D
I've created Barbie clothes here~
I have also emptied part of my savings buying cheap taobao.com Japanese branded clothes!
I'm also going to read and master the SunTsu's Art of War to tackle opponents in the near future:D
CNA's Suntzu's war on Business is a nice show:)
My wuxia love is deeper now with the Heaven Sword and Dragon Sabre TV series airing on TV now.

Ironically I am the one who hasn't watched the series cos I read the episode summaries to avoid falling into the traps of idol dramas..
Nevertheless, I'm still charmed by Water, Juice and Tea-hyungs.
Sometimes I wonder why they seem so familiar..
First is that I have the dream ambition of being a scriptwriter/director that I make up all genres of content esp. idol dramas since they are so influential and money-making(lol)
[I harbour many ambitions btw]
Secondly is because I feel that I act like these three-hyungs(though my physical appearance is miles away).
I am water-hyung when I want to protect myself and when I have a feeling I'll get hurt.
Juice-hyung appears in me when I find someone who is willing to have fun with me~
When there is someone worth protecting and caring for, I'll have to be tea-hyung.
(Water=taekyung Juice=jeremy tea=shin-woo btw)
I guess these 3 characters exist within each of us, but there may be one/two dominant ones.
I asked people who they prefer among the three, and they either chose all or none(no response).
Currently, tae-kyung is dominant in me.I am a quiet and mysterious gal now lol.

Nobody cares and I don't care~

Just back from Vietnam~
We gave the school a mobile library, mural for the canteen and a camp for the entire school..
R&R for 2 days in Ho Chi Minh.
The homestay offered by the school for 13 days was great(except for the parsley & veg in dishes and watching the giant cockroach that crawl over someone on the first night)~
The simple life is great~
Danang has really nice beaches.
Cu Chi tunnels are real cool and reveal really smart army tactics~
Shopping in Vietnam is carefree since things are relatively cheap~

Was the loner in the team of 17 people cos I guess I wasn't keen to talk and neither were people keen to talk to me.
(even though they still cared when I came down with fever)
But I wasn't the one who knew what went on among the team and was excluded from Heart-to-heart sessions(HTHT).
Some of these HTHT sessions were probably team gossip anyway.
Or just confessions of the past.
Pissed off that I'm left out but what can I do?
Cherish my family more lo.
My University exam results suck btw.

Semester 1 of 09/10 just ended with our exams.
I think my ability to excel academically has reached its bottleneck.
My feeling is that it is much worse than the 'A' levels since I felt lost and was (very)careless.
I guess I just have to take it easy?
Plus surviving in my course is tough since most of my coursemates are really smart and I am really dumb.
(It seems like I suffered a brain concussion after the 'A'-levels and in college now, I 'stoned' in tutorials and doze off easily in lectures)

Celebrated linlin's birthday at a Japanese restaurant in school yesterday..
The pizza was handmade(revealed by the distorted shape), tasty and cheap~
Lots of cheese and meat and the crust was thin!

10 more days before I fly off to Vietnam for a meaningful trip~

I have just finished my tutorials earlier than I've expected and that's why I'm here.
School is ending in a month's time but exams are just 2 weeks away!!
I'm relaxing these days after last week's hectic schedule with project and presentations..
There's still one project due tmr but I'm quite the slacker in the group so I don't have much to do?
Yes, I do look like the hardworking bee but I'm actually a leecher especially nearing the deadline of the project..
I simply boss around in the beginning, rushing everyone to meet their deadlines even though I simply can't meet mine..
Just like how I messed up my presentation last week with no rehearsing and memorising my script..
It also does not help when my slides are sparse and everything that I want to present depends on my memory with sparse visual aids.I can only blame myself for the plight I'm in.
I've got a nice friend who keeps reminding me to relax whenever I stay up late:)
but I have to understand I'm lagging behind and I need to work harder..
I realised this when I took a whole day to get my accounting homework done whereas for the past few tutorials, I just left my answers as it is after 2-3 attempts without caring if it's correct or not..
Where has my habit of aiming for excellence gone?
I simply feel uninspired whenever things don't go my way(which usually happens now)..
Moreover, people around me are really superb and I feel like a small shrimp here although I chose because I thought I'll be a big fish in a small pond.
Things I haven't done/going to do/wished to do have all been done by the people around me here in this campus.
It may be just an education I'm going through now but this reflects some process in life which I'm probably experience again~
Yun Ting is falling short of academic expectations and do not be surprised.
Hope I am find inspiration again SOON~

You thought my blog was dead.
Well, it is because life is simply so busy for me that I feel like a hamster running on an exercising wheel and cannot get out of it.
But I'm enjoying myself with some of my commitments such as my overseas community project where I really like being with my team(all of them seniors except for one who is in the same course as me)
At least there is some joy derived from varsity life, like this Saturday's community service-cum-OCIP bonding trip to Sentosa~
I can say that a lot of things have happened since the 499th post~
E.g. personal attack, wisdom tooth, disappointing academic results..

Everyone is busy with their lives, with simply little time to spare..
Life will still stay the same even after we start working..

Thanks to their song being featured as the ending theme to the newest season of Inuyasha, AAA is getting more recognition with 'find you'(girls),'hide and seek'(guys) and 'hide away'(both).
These three songs simply have the same tune and come with the design of lock & key.
They are rumoured to be appearing on Kohaku Uta Gassen 2009, and let's hope it's true.
After all, this is especially special for a group of five guys who appeared on the show as backup dancers 6 years ago and might finally get their own stage as singers this year.

Reminds me of what Fanny said about my blog yesterday.
I have forgotten what I wrote last time and was laughing about what I used to blog.
Yeps, Eve,Fanny and I met yesterday~

The colour is a nice navy and the style of the bag was what I wanted:)
Concidentally,I have a pair of black and navy heels that I bought for office wear just last week..
So I've got matching shoes and bag now~

We had sticky chewy chocolate ice cream mooncake upon Eve's request and a topless five at swensens..
Our topless five didn't have any bright colours, just neutral earthy tones with macadamia nut(My Fav! among the 5),hazelnut,rocky road,Milo and Traditional Vanilla.
Such colours brought me a thought:
Few people have such plain-looking colours as their favourite colours,but I feel that these tones simply reflect us as ordinary people and it gives a back-to-nature vibe.
Sometimes, being ordinary and simple is good.
LOL,I think too much just by eating ice cream.

Here's the table lamp my parents bought for me upon telling them that I may have to use a lamp to do schoolwork or study in the late night where my younger sister has to sleep with the lights off.
I mean our family and my friends aren't the lovey-dovey kind,but we're like that inside.(at least for me)
I can't really stand showing all these 'love' so openly because it seems so hypocritical when people feel that they aren't that close to you actually..

A good buy:

It has 101 songs from dramas and all of these songs are the instrumental versions.
It's quite relaxing to listen to but some of the tracks have saxophone or trumpet playing the vocals.
The latter drowns out the background music>:(

Wanted to buy Ponyo DVD asap when I saw its advert on TV..
So I went into a video shop yesterday to check its price:$26+
Upon seeing the price and considering that I'll probably watch it once and nothing more,I gave up the thought of purchasing it:'(
It'll also eat up half of my $50 salary=.=and we had Swensens yesterday for lunch(2 persons=$17)
Instead,saw this at a video shop yesterday which I foolishly broke out into a smile on my own alone:

But I probably can catch the whole of it on Internet quickly(10 episodes) and not buy because of the same reasons for not buying Ponyo.

I haven't watch a single episode of Ghost Friends though.

back-to-school

It's back-to-school in a few weeks' time~*sighs*
I've just wasted my 8 months staying at home 75% of the time.
This 8-month vacation was supposed to be filled with exciting travelling trips to Asia(no thanks to flu outbreaks,acid attacks and fruitless job searches=no money) and taking meaningful courses(that failed due to my late commitment for signing up and also the money issue and also nobody wanted me to tag along)..
What happened in reality is simply watching travel shows on local TV and a disappointing trip to Taiwan~[okay,I'm sound like I'm not contented with what I have]
No more TV marathons when school starts:'(

So I'm preparing for school these days with the confusing admin work for U..
I'm so not nervous and cautious about sending all the forms before their deadlines that my parents need to remind and 'threaten' me to get all the stuff done..
Just don't know where I'm so slack when it comes to this kind of procedure~

Anyway,I finally got my hands on a book that I've been wanting to borrow:

Subhas Anandan - The Best I Could
Don't be surprised that I've picked up this book to read just because it's the autobiography of a criminal lawyer!;)
Obviously law is not an option for me.
But it's always interesting to read about someone different.
And this book was not disappointing at all:)
The author was openly frank(which may seem shocking;but I liked its truths) and the life experiences he brought up were simply unique/absurd(as compared to our current generation).
I think the chapters on the cases which he fought for are a must-read for most of us who follow up on daily news.

Okay,the above sounds like a book review=0_0=
(which we as students used to dread as holiday assignments)
Pardon me for my poor English in the above review and unacceptable eloquence(that had my mum complaining about each time I stammered and stuttered in my conversations with friends).
Staying at home too much has made my linguistic skills rot.
(though they were not of quality to begin with)
So going back to school ain't a bad thing after all.
It also helps me evolve from my inactive pupa state to become a social butterfly:)

P.S: Preparing to get a new and cheap school bag either from Animal or Billabong;preferably large enough to put my laptop..

Spotted a Billabong backpack that came either in brown or purple but it's $60 so I'll wait for it to appear in the 50% corner=.=

My blog has gone dead for a month due to inactivity from staying at home.
I'm cooped up everyday at home or just going out for tuition or going for rare outings with friends.
I'm living a spartan life,trying to use as little resources as I can to save money and the Earth.
Watching yesterday's episode of Blue Planet on okto made me guilty about eating seafood:(
And I was so convinced that I had thoughts of becoming a vegan=0_0=

But again,my life isn't so spartan as you think because:

I bought this laptop from the IT fair for school use:)
But school starts in August=.=
We missed out on haggling for a free mouse(worth $20)>:(

A luxurious and sinful life(for me maybe) would be:
1.Trying 10 flavours of Haato/Gelato ice cream(which I can afford but can't bear to part with my money)
2.Eating Japanese multi-coloured tibits/keropok
3.A walk-in wardrobe that is replenished with the latest stock
4.A enormous library of books and magazines
5.Backpack Travelling
6.Going underwater without getting wet(via boat or submarine or the cheapest:watching Blue Planet)

I'm starting classes for Cardio Yoga soon~
I made the decision to sign up on impulse:(
I hope I don't regret it.
I've been browsing the PA website these days for courses and activities to sign up so that I can keep myself occupied and learn everything that I want before school starts!

My wishlist:

It was supposed to be a visit to her house but I ended up watching the show the whole time with 2 'Boys Over flowers' fanatics by my side.
And these fans/friends of mine wasn't watching it for the first time but for countless times,followed by Fanny's screams when the male lead appeared.
Eve ain't any better when she can 'stone' the moment the Japanese version comes on.
But I can't deny the fact that the Korean one was enjoyable:)
Actually, the story plot itself is charming,making every girl fall in love with the show~

Anyway,although I haven't watch the entire drama, I've reading related news about the behind-the-scenes and the fan-related stuff from U-weekly and '100% Entertainment' that I'm quite a walking dictionary:)
(The Taiwanese channel for 100% Entertainment is airing the show too and they are getting the male and female leads to come to Taiwan!)

Meanwhile,I wished I could fulfil my dream of attending AAA's concert!
Sadly,their concert for their 4th anniversary is on 22th September AGAIN!
[ one day after my birthday:'( ]
Which means I can't attend because College will start by August!Again!~:(

Just saw job vacancies as temperature assistants in yesterday's papers.
I think they need people to help others take temperature and have 30+ places.
And you have to risk your life for $6/hour because you practically come into contact with anyone including suspected cases.
What if you wore a mask on Singapore's trains and buses?
How would Singaporeans react?
But it's a considerate act that is commonly practised by anybody with flu in Hong Kong,Taiwan,Japan,etc.
Doesn't it frighten you when there's a person who keeps sneezing and blowing his nose in a packed bus/train?

Students nowadays are busier than me(duh!).
But even primary school students are dismissed at 4pm.
I think the Ch8 show 'School Daze' is a pretty good parody of our students:)

Would life be better if I was a guy?
Probably because if there was any unhappiness, a fight could pretty much settle the problems between individuals:D
That was what I usually thought as a solution but it took other forms of battle.

I met up with Faiezah and Noraini yesterday!:D
It was a fun time with lots of cam-whoring by them!
[I could feel someone acting like a member of the paparazzi and looked like a tourist when she hung a professional camera over her neck=.=]
Anyway, we went bowling and catching soft toys from the claw/UFO machines at Marina Square!

Wasted money though with those poor attempts of mine:'(
But we managed to keep within our budget or so~
I was so angry that the first toy kept getting partially stuck by some plastic film circling the hole>:(
Surprisingly,I caught 2 toys at one go(accidently) when I succeeded in my attempt to catch the first toy!
Then I attempted a mickey one for myself!
Here's our catch from yesterday:

It really helps if you know how to operate the machine first before you waste money trying(like me!)
And always focus on one machine to catch the one toy you target to have!
Another fact newbies may not know: You can always ask for a toy of a different design you want in exchange for what you caught as long as they come from the same machine!
P.S: There's a wide variety of new UFO machines at Illuma(Bugis) with prizes like ice cream and chocolates at the top level of the building~

Had a nose bleed again while talking to my friend on the phone.
Didn't realise it until the end of the call when my hands were stained with blood.
I still wiped the fluid away with the back of my hand as I thought I had a running nose.
Probably due to my 'heaty-ness' because I was running all over town that day, checking out the new venues for volunteer work~

Recently got hooked on visiting the library:)
I first checked out what new books I've always wanted to read but couldn't afford to buy at the bookstores, then went to the library and searched for them:D
I got hold of 'The tales of Beedle the Bard' by JK Rowling and 'Yakuza Moon' by Tendo Shoko!
Both books have enlightening content but the latter may shock the reader:
I think most of us are unable to believe/understand/accept what the author has gone through,esp. her teen years.
Wanted to show the book covers but I can't find the device connecting my memory card to the PC:(

Am looking forward to borrowing 'The Boy in the Striped Pajamas'(book) but the library doesn't have it yet.

I think relationships are really complex.
I think what is important is to stay grounded(with family and friends) and not change for the worse when one's status evolves between 'single' and 'attached'..
If I become the protagonist,I do not know whether I'll be clear-minded enough('ta stamp'/blinded) to handle my life and carry out my own advice~

Just returned from a meet-up with some of my secondary school friends Eve,Fanny,Desmond and Eugene(!)..
Got a surprise when Eugene was the first to turn up when I wasn't informed of his 'arrival'=0_0=
When I asked Eve why she didn't tell me, she stoned for a moment and said 'Surprise!~' with complete hand actions;)
[We were meeting up for Desmond had to leave for China for half a year as part of his studies:)]

My part time job is quite over..
It was a busy week with many of us finishing as late as 2am..
I guess the job was an eye-opener with much office politics~
I think and hope that other jobs in future won't be as tough as this:)
Being 'green' leads to bullying and being made the scapegoat..
I simply shrug it off and say 'sua le sua le'/forget it(sounds familiar?)
I'm glad I had people(gui ren) help me all along the way as I became miss understood(pun) and others who brought smiles.
It's a paradox/irony or whatsoever to have my fellow collagues who are a year older to call me 'Da Jie'/Big sister while everyone else called me xiao mei=0_O=
Generally, I worked like a slave in a nepotism-filled business whose hierachy can be compared to that of a Chinese monarchy/royal family/'huang gong';)

I managed to catch the last episode of 'New Heart' yesterday:D
There was a bear scene depicting the characters similar to that in Goong at the ending!
It's refereshing because of the hospital/medical theme~
Korean dramas ALWAYS have a fast and slow OST song!
And the slow song is so typical of the tear jerker in Korean soap dramas!
While sound effects when shocking/significant events in the storyline are typical of Taiwanese min nan yu dramas~

Work has started for me not long ago..
I'm paid a common hourly rate that's quite little as compared to my peers..
Nevetheless, I got to know many colleagues who are of the same age..
Some perks of the job are arranging flower or bear bouquets and a rare trip to deliver..
But at most times,I'm doing small manual tasks since I've not been assigned to doing sales yet:(
Sometimes I can relate to those workers in factories producing toys:

My colleagues/co-workers are a bunch of interesting people but we parted ways(literally) after a few days:'(

I've come to realise that I'm usually cut off from everyone else when there's no school..
I actually look forward to meeting everyone as frequently as possible..
But the disappointment when everyone is busy or the hassle that come along stops me from contacting others..

In the past, people used to keep things from me or let me be the last to know or excluded me from some event..
These mean behaviour pissed me off..
What sin have I committed?And I don't even know what's wrong.
So now,I guess I won't be revealing much too.

Woohoo!Merry X'mas nonetheless!~
This is the 4th Christmas on my blog:)
I've been gone for a couple of weeks...

My 8 day holiday in Taiwan was fun even though it didn't live up to my expectations(as gathered from years of watching Taiwanese variety shows)..
There was nice scenery in the places we visited and here's the Pacific Ocean as seen during our journey along the east coast of Taiwan:

There was lots of shopping but never enough time!
And I stayed up every night past midnight to watch all the popular Taiwanese shows and a Korean drama as well!
I could catch my daily dose of 100% Entertainment as well!
There was at least 2 channels to turn to each night or morning for interesting shows!

I bought many Japanese magazines at a much cheaper price too including Popteen..
What shocked me was:

I admired the above model(Izuoka Misaki) and she is the same age as me..
But her 'before' and 'after' photos are startling!
My image of her is kind of broken:'(
But I think it really shows how makeup is very important to an woman.

I'm hooked on 'Bu Liang Xiao Hua'/Campus Shrewd/Miss No Good'!!

The past few days were kind of interesting...
On Friday, we went for our first meet up since our secondary school days with my SJAB friends!
Yeah,it was a memorable trip to Sentosa and Vivocity...
I'm really looking forward to our next outing!:)

I had a dye job yesterday!
My hair is now a dark brown-copper colour and it helps tone down my pale face:D
But I feel the same as before except that I need to be extra careful in shampoo-ing..
And yesterday was the first time in quite many years that our whole family went out together on a shopping trip in Tampines!

I've got lots of pictures to show but my sister's laptop(which has the Bluetooth function) has some problems:(
*sighs*
But I'll upload asap;)

Anyway, I'll not be available from 13 to 20 december so any attempts to contact me will be futile unless I'm bringing my phone along...
The latter would also mean that such attempts will incur a much higher cost..

It seems like I'm the only one who's not working and living off my family(although I'm not rich)..
I simply lack the courage and determination to find or take up challenging jobs..
Nevertheless I'm still waiting for vacancies and please tell me of one so that I can increase my productivity for these holidays:)
But I do not want to compromise on any outings with friends and do not wish that work will clash with such events...

The irony: it turns out that my idea of compromising is uncommon and many of my friends are not doing that..
Thus,my effort to stay out of work is useless..
Besides,many inevitably feel that they derive more material comfort from money than having the non-material comfort of being free..

Anyway,I have a no-pay job these few days: Full-time domestic helper who has to help clear stacks of notes,drawers and re-organise any untidy things in my house..

I actually missed the Opening Ceremony of Bejing Olympics!
Everyone said it was spectacular~
Yet on that day I gave up my thoughts of watching it because I was late..
In the midst of doing my homework, I fell asleep so I missed everything altogether..
So for the past few days off from school, I actually watched some of the matches from as short as a glimpse to as long as an hour!

Nonetheless I've enriched myself from watching the Games surprisingly.
Well, sportsmanship is really important...
There's no point in using underhand means to win your opponent..
I would hate to know that people think that I'll do this.
Anyway,I mean no harm unless provoked.

I've got less than 100 days to 'A' Levels!:(
Is that enough time for me to complete the race?
Even when you've all the time in the time,you'll never be prepared enough for the test.
Even when you're the best runner, there lies this fear of not finishing the race and winning.
Let Nature take its course~

I guess when two people of opposite genders do not want or have yet to hold responsibilty for each other, they won't announce/admit that they are ready to do so..
Because they are uncertain, just like us onlookers.

I am looking forward to the day when I meet people from my past and I will certainly grab hold of the chance to talk to or learn more about them.

HONEY & CLOVER TAIWAN DRAMA merchandise!
I spotted them at Popular Bookstore at Woodlands two weeks or so ago!:)
It became an 'Honey&Clover' trip!~

Upon watching the series, I quite like the male actor who calls himself 'Lego' in real life as he protrays Takemoto really well and innocently..
I also like the other female actress Chang Chun-ning Janine (on the left in the 3rd picture)..
She received some best movie actress award recently according to the Chinese newspaper I read today~
The five main characters form a band called 'Clover' and they've made an appearance at the red carpet at the Chinese Melody Awards!WEE~

The Holidays always fly past fast~
And my school term begins with the mid-year exams~
I feel lost about my exams and uncertain about my future..
I kept thinking about I am doing now and whether I was living my life or I was wasting my youth again...
But then again, studying is no life but it promises you a better one in the future.
Actually, no one has a 'life', one that really lets you live how you want it to be.

We(my interact club friends) took a trip to Chinese Garden one day to check out the facilities for our last activity for Bright Homes!
We got on a golf buggy to tour the place with the staff there!
I stood at the rear of the vehicle and it was kind of like a roller-coaster ride especially when the vehicle went up the traditional Chinese curved/semi-circle-shaped bridge~
Yeah, we also headed for Japanese Gardens...
Well, these places are really quiet and scenic:)
They also have nice function rooms that looked like chalets...
(That's me with the purple bag!)

I don't think being positive towards school and studying deserves to be 'rewarded' with you saying 'wow,you also will __(fill in something that is unexpected of a model student)...since you always appear to be __(fill in an example of a good student)...'
I won't say I'm a good student but I'm indeed trying my best to be~
I'm responsible for myself!:3
I don't want to be overly dependent on others such that they'll feel I'm a nuisance or burden..
Being hardworking doesn't mean that I won't complain of being tired..
Being focused on my studies doesn't mean that I don't play..

P.S: I went out to a shopping mall for the 1st time in two weeks?
I saw the Popteen issue with Tsubasa's wedding!(Feb 08)
It's $6++ but there was an open copy which I browsed through the entire magazine..
I think I'm still going to buy it because it's a collectible for me with Tsubasa inside!;)
I saw this CD(below) too!
And the nice thing was when I flipped to the back to see AAA's songs inside!:')

My 2nd hand Nokia 6280 phone broke down so I'm back using Nokia 3220:(
I can't believe the 3220 phone actually outlived the newer one!
It's been 4 years since I got this really currently extinct phone:0
Revamped it a bit with the blue and pearl stickers:D

Happy that journey in school is (so far)smooth-sailing and thanks to the compliments given:)
But the future remains a mystery and anything could happen..

Yeah,school has started again..
And receiving the results to Block Test is a bad start right?
Anyway,we should continue to work hard no matter what
and let's not allow any history of unsatisfactory results to repeat itself again for the national exams!
I've bought 'Best of AAA' from yesasia.com but it has yet to arrive..
Can't wait!~
My 2nd-hand(previously my older sister's phone) Nokia 6280 phone has broke down...
Apparently it can't receive any signal/reception so I can't call or send messages..
Thus, the phone becomes useless..
Using back my really old Nokia 3220 phone now~
I've just checked the latest phone models on http://www.gsmarena.com/..
The new designs are really different from the old that each brand usually dishes out!
Nokia is releasing new and nice flip phones!
Samsung is going Iphone-ish!
Kudos to these new designs!

Since Tsubasa left popteen magazine, 3 models have replaced her and they are seen as the last three models here:

Saturday out with Fanny and Eve was fun~
We went to Clarke Quay to celebrate Eve's Birthday..
Lots of wacky and funny things happened:
A ramen-eating contest where passer-bys were asked to join.
The G-max ride where we watched some tourists go on it...
High-tea at some uptown cafe nearby with mini cupcakes and scones(I finally know what they are!)
Perfume spree at Central Shopping Mall and later Chinatown..
Dinner at the foodcourt at the level above the posh Japanese restaurants because Eve was simply broke from buying perfume..
Fanny's funny actions(sorry to Fanny about that;but it's simply hilarious) where she tapped her 'Kopitiam' card on the ezlink card scanner and saying what's not meant to be heard(both horny and mean) in front of other people..
Yeah, the perfume spree continued at Chinatown..
I'm amazed with the mini bottles such as the mini DKNY and Anna Sui perfume..
Simply too cute/coolXD
We ended the trip by sitting down on the steps of People's Park OG while eating roadside ice-cream:D

It's great to be with people who are different from you~
You get to learn new things and be more sensitive too..
I think getting gifts/presents that won't normally be on your wishlist/interests are also great because it's something you don't think about buying(for yourself)~
Just like me getting perfume or a pendant=o_O=

Hi,I'm back.
I guess the feeling of blogging is no longer there because I've been busy in school which is kind of boring..

I finally bought my shoes for Chinese New Year though it's a kind of track shoes...
But I can wear it for school too!:)

It looks Mizuno-ish...
As I looked for the above image,it pisses me off when I see so many other nice designs that are not available in Queensway~
Arghh!~
I went to look for Nike Air Force especially World Love series..
I found them but it looks boyish and heavy!
And the label didn't even indicate that it was the 'World Love' edition and the country~
I don't just look at branded labels but I go a lot for the design,setting off my fetish for shoes!

I've changed from last year.
I don't know what changed..
Perhaps in the area of school...
And I'm going to be 18 this year=0_O=

P.S: Blog-reading might get you to knowing what's happening to somebody..

School and CCA are making my life busy these days!
3 tests for this week and Block Tests start on 17th March~
Can I really do my best?
Because I can't picture myself in the near future, like always.
I'm taking a step at a time and
I want to make sure each footprint that I make is a good and deep one
so that I can walk a nice journey.

Hwang Jin-I is really a nice Korean Drama series with the female lead being so quick-witted but soft-hearted:D
It's sort of a good inspiration to the selfish and cruel real world,whether's it in the 16th century or 21st.
It's easy to relate to her...

I saw Ayumi's 'Guilty' album at the CD stores yesterday..
Yes,she lost her hearing in her left ear...
But she will continue singing and performing..
I don't think she'll rest because of her upcoming Asia concerts and Avex is surviving on her too..
So her right ear isn't going to be spared either:(

Anyway,I thought that Koda Kumi's current music is what I preferred more over Ayumi..
Kuu's(as addressed by her fans) current songs remind me of Ayumi's songs at the peak of her career like 'Voyage' and 'M'...
So I going to buy 'Kingdom' by Koda featuring songs like 'Freaky','Ai No Uta' and 'Last Angel'!

When things don't go your way, you will blame others and perhaps yourself...
But when things come to a stage that you put your blame on another person and use it as an excuse for your sucky attitude and behaviour, it is awfully ugly,selfish and shallow of you...
Bad things happen not because of one person's fault but because of every party's fault in some way..
If you keep blaming someone for something you find unsatisfactory and all you can do is sit by, you are at fault too..
Because you're not helping the person stop or prevent further what he's doing that making you unhappy with him...
So we actually have a choice of whether we want to make ourselves and almost everyone satisfied/happy...
Everybody makes mistakes.
But it's after he admits his mistakes whether people are willing to help him correct and prevent making such mistakes again...
I won't deny that I'm at fault for everything.
I'm not putting the whole blame on others.

I'm at fault too because of my cowardice..
I no longer possess the confidence and courage I had(more;but not a large proportion generally) in the past..
Stuck in a new,mysterious and hypocritical environment has made me feel insecure and unable to face the time when people oppose me for my actions and feelings...
What's more dangerous when everyone appears lovey-dovey but actually backstabs each of us and no innocent one is spared.
And there's also the anti-activities held against one loathed/hated person..

I can now sense any ulterior motives people have...
And their behaviour is masked by one layer of falsity..
But I will hurt/attack them if my double/triple/multi layer of identities that they won't be able to track down the real one.

Happy 2008!
My first post for 2008~
I've been away from blogging for almost 10 days...
Being online has become a burden for me because I tend to screw up my time management and discipline when I use the computer..
So this is probably one of the fewer times you'll see me online...
Plus the number of readers here can be rounded off to zero=.=

School starts tomorrow~
And this second year is gonna be tough with the national 'A' Levels exams:(
I'll also have new classmates and teachers...
But I think nothing's gonna change much for me...
Because almost everyone will still loathe,dislike or hate me BAH0_O
I don't really get the feeling of being appreciated or cared for:P
Let's hope I'll make through this year with flying colours~Weee!

Okay,I blogged everything here and now the long post I just wrote is gone.
Damn.

Volunteer work has filled my holidays from the start till yesterday..
12th December was farm visit for elderly, 14th December was Graduation for Project Bridging and 15th December was Christmas Party for 150 elderly..
Behind all these events were weeks of preparation and discussions...
I've hardly any time to enjoy since I have to do holiday homework for the rest of the holidays..

Need to get a nice set of stationery and stuff for my 2008 school year!:)
Perhaps a nice and cheap backpack too:D
My older sister bought me a 'Popteen' magazine when she went to Malaysia for work a few weeks ago...

Negativity towards everything..
I feel so negative and biased against everything...
School, Social life, Personality...
So pissed with all these things...
Because all these negativity comes from what people give me..

I was riding the bus home yesterday at night after my CCA meeting at CDC Toa Payoh...
And I saw a lot of teens my age who seemed to have only started or continued their activities till the late night...
Yeah,I'm an early bird compared to the rest of my counterparts...
The time I switched off the lights to sleep is when they leave their home to meet their friends...
While I am lying in my bed, they have only begun their night parties...
The silence in my bedroom is a far cry from the noisy techno music,screams and shrieks they hear or create in their midst of fun...
But when my eyes open the next day and I get ready to wake up, they drop dead in their beds..

The common types of blogs that exist in the world:

1.Cam-whoring blog
This type of blog basically takes ages to load because of the hundreds and thousands of photos posted on the blog, recording the moments of the blogger's life each day,hour,minute and second..
Most celebrities have this kind of blog...

2.Fan-dom/Fan-based Blog
This blog talks about everything and anything under the sun and beyond about the interested topic or person...
The entries will make the blog look like the world evolves around this topic...
Fans of anything in the world make up this group of blogs...

3. Personal blog without photos but with ramblings?
This type is probably the most common, with its audience ranging from angry and emo teenagers to the quiet dork sitting in the corner of the office..
There may also be 'weird' spelling and words in the blog or it will simply look like the keyboard is stuck when extra letters appear such as the word 'I' will appear as 'ii' and 'you' as'euuu'

4.Random Blog
This type is a blog where you practically dump any rubbish stuff here like long essays on why you hate this person and you talk about anything random from time to time..

I can't think of more types...
But do you know of them?
Mine is somewhere between type 3 and 4:)

I haven't been online for almost a week these days...
Just trying to save electricity~

A few days ago, I dreamt that there were natural disasters taking place around us...
Typhoons,floods and all the destruction...
I still remembered that I told everyone in my dream that we realise the need/importance to minimise global warming only when all these natural disasters have arrived at our doorstep...
Perhaps we really need to take the actions now,even through the smallest ways before it's too late...
I've been dreaming about the end of the world always because I think that's a fear of mine:]

Tomorrow is the start of my two-week attachment for Project bridging with 6-year-olds...
I went on one day before, which was good enough for me to expect what's going on:)

My holidays are filled with community work from Interact Club and CIP!:[
No time to enjoy myself:(

There was the Rolling Stones shirt and nice bags for school and leisure that I could buy!=.=
Really enjoyed that trip anyway!

The past few days had been cool because I had a 4-day break without school:D

For the 1st day, it was an outing with my sisters....
We went to KBOX and sang two hours and more worth of songs...
We(actually it's me) kept flooding the song list several times(the maximum was 30)..
And eventually we didn't sing all of our(again,it should me me) songs-_-

We headed for the movie 'Game Plan' at some new Cathay place next:)
Nice show and we went to a place called 'Waffletown' for waffles(of course=.=) and dinner...
The waffles with ice-cream was really fantastic!:P
But the burger I had there was a rip-off at $3+ which I could have bought at $2 at the Western food stall near my house=o_O=

There was class outing that day but I saw the message only when we were about to leave our house for karaoke:(
So, it was quite late to change my mind...
I've been missing the past few class outings:'(
Hopefully I can make it for the next time!~

I wasted the rest of the days at home by not doing much because I wanted to try save electricity\^_^/

Yesterday was better:
I went shopping to Woodlands and Yishun...
AND I saw REEBOK PRIME MOTION at Northpoint!
They were having a sale and it was at $59.90!
But it didn't turn out as nice as the pictures..
I practically went to 5 sport stores to look for it!
Disappointed and so,Adidas ZX600 and Nike World Love Series here I come!:)

I was still thinking of decorating ear muffles which was closest to headphones=.=
But the idea of using that was put off because the pair I own is in shocking/hot pink=0_O=
So the accessories + hotpink colour = DISASTER.

Plus, I have been using hairbands these days..
Probably will get a haircut in mid-December...
I've been going for haircuts so much (as frequent as once a month) that my friends think I'm crazy..
I have the 'bulimia' symptoms applying to my obesession on my hair:
When my hair is actually short(like it hasn't touch the collar yet), I will think otherwise and will be eager to go for haircuts again^.^V

Adidas zx600 - A really colourful pair of shoes especially the edition in white with yellow,blue and pink which is one of my favourite colour combinations!

I think it's cool because it plays with the 'International' theme but I feel that it would be better if they use the designs to bring out the culture of each country instead..

The bright colours she use blends in with and enriches the overall look amazingly~

When I don't complain,say anything and remain silent to whatever is happening around me, it means that things have come to a stage that I have given up on the current situation.
In other words, I don't care anymore about that matter.
It's not that I'm uncaring,selfish or whatever=0_O=
I've tried my best to do whatever it takes to be a good friend but if that party involved doesn't give a damn or consider changing, I will simply STOP and give up.
Because I don't want to nag and let it be an excuse for hating/disliking me.

For the past few days,I thought there was school today..
Until I looked carefully at the timetable and saw that I was wrong=.=

I had the feeling to write poems and lyrics of songs..
Here are two that I thought of that don't rhyme or flow=.=

'Poem' 1
There was a girl named 'dork', who has been in existence for the past 17 years but has the mind of a 7 year old.
She can tell you everything about everyone but nothing about herself.
She can take good care and show concern about everyone but nobody gives a damn about her.
She tries her best at giving the best to others, often leaving the worse for herself.
Yet nobody bothers returning her any favour.
She can give warmth to the hearts of the loneliest souls, but fails to receive any of that.
She views the world in a postive light but others think that she is the source of darkness.

'Poem 2'
I feel like I'm a robot because people treat me so.
My hair may feel plastic like a Barbie doll and they often let me leave alone out of the door.
I may be rigid and slow in moves and grooves and they neglect my feelings too.
I stand in the spotlight and become the odd one out when nobody wants to pair me up.
I try to make everyone happy by granting their wishes like I've been programmed, hoping that I can cost more than just a cent.
I thought it's true to treat people the way I want them to treat me, but they just ignore and let me be.
So it seems that my duty is to serve,not be served until the day I break down beyond repair.

These long and boring poems are half-fiction but the inspirations came from real experiences.

3 is a significant number to me because I'm always stuck in a group of 3 where I will soon find myself to be the odd one out among the three, the individual without a partner and outside of a pair among the group of 3...
I've already forgotten the feeling of being a pair because I've gone through countless times of being alone...

P.S: This is an 'emo' post-.-But I've always been like that.

Project Work is over!Yay~
Oral presentation was a success too!
Macadamia Loves[my group name=.=] has come a long way~

So, like any average teen[so I'm actually normal?], I went with my friends to eat at Seoul Garden at Orchard..
It cost me $14 and apparently I had around that amount in my wallet..
I felt so broke..
But the ice-cream and chinese dessert made me happy:D
Should have ate more ice-cream:(

Then, we went to the library and I borrowed Volume 2 of NANA manga!
Now, I regret not grabbing the volume 4 because the comic is really nice:)
My friends wanted to head for Kinokuniya and I was afraid that my temptation of spending would come...
In the end, we didn't go there but headed for my second temptation HMV.

But apparently, not having enough money with me helped...
Anyway, I saw 'LOVE PiECE' by Ai Otsuka on sale!
There's only 10 tracks so it's not worth buying...
I saw BoA's complete clips 2004-2006 which is quite worth though:)
Most importantly, I searched the section on AAA and found only 'Kuchibiru no Romanchika/That's Right' as the only newest AAA CD~
Disappointed that there was no AROUND or other CDs that I would want to buy-.-

I managed to beat 3 of the Elite Four in Pokemon Pearl today..
But I didn't save the game because I was in the battle with the last of the Elite Four...
Now, I've forgotten the strategies of battling each member of the Elitle Four:'(

I'm such a dork!
Here's a list of the dorky/stupid things that happened to me today~

1.There's no school today because it's Oral presentation exam period for Project Work..
But I went to school early in the morning because I read the wrong timetable=.=
Luckily I was occupied by the arranging of my working file...

My secondary 4 friend Perry also turned up early because his Project mates asked him to come early but they didn't turn up...
So we chatted while the canteen remained empty=.="
Then at 8 we went to computer lab=.=
So I waited for 9.30am to come to start PW...

2.My presentation totally sucked...
I blanked out and stuttered everytime I went up until the last time we rehearsed...
Where is the ME who had no problems with presenting?
I guess those skills of speaking are rusty and this explains the stuttering and rambling..

3.To 0721: Thank You!:)
I thought that the whole class moved from one classroom to the classroom my group occupied to listen to my group present because we requested it...
I began to tell my friend how nervous I'll be when I present my slides..
And when the birthday cake came,I sang the birthday song happily with the rest of my class for my two classmates whose birthdays are today...
It was only when my name was in the birthday song, then I got the shock of my life...

Ok, they were celebrating a belated birthday for me~
Then I remembered that they had celebrated the two classmates' birthdays earlier that day>.<
Just that my group missed it and it slipped my mind...

Wanted to create maple/wuddle dolls of everyone in class as a tribute but it's really difficult with the large number of people..

Today's NYJC's openhouse..
I became a tour guide and need to be active and lively..
And speak to strangers..
I think this kind of job is quite fun,talking to people:)

I have no idea about my future.
I have no vision.
Taking a step at a time.

Wanted to go KTV today, but the mood was spoilt by my results.
Went to forget my despair in eating baked rice at pastamania for lunch and being a tour guide.

Ice-cream is the best cure for unhappiness for me:D

Yeah!The exams for my 3 H2 subjects are over!:)
But I'm pretty unsure of my performance in the exams so far...
The feeling of uncertainty about my results is back...
It'll continue till I get my results...
There's still Chinese, H1 Physics , H2 Chemistry Paper 1 exams...
And the Chinese exam is tomorrow~
But I've become so relaxed now and feel like the exams are over=.=

I just went to yesterday's NDP rehearsal...
It was a simulated version with no goodie bags,no fireworks,no guests...
It was quite pathetic because there were people holding signs standing in for the guests such as the PM and the President...
And the people standing in even waved~LOL.
The worst one was when there were 5 staff standing in the middle of the stage holding a sign that says:'200 Starlight Performers'...
=.='
Anyway,the military part in the beginning was great!~

This year's NDP is different from the previous years...
There's more wow-factors in it~
The planes,helicopters,army stuff and parachutes[which we didn't have] are really close if you are seated among the audience...
There's even the special operations police,army and other SAF people who suddenly popped up among the audience with their weapons pointing around like in action~

Apparently, someone has been abusing my tagboard over the past few days with countless of messages.
Each message contains vulgarities and obviously shows the nature of the person.
Anyway, I have not offended anyone.
I guess the problem lies with this coward who has plenty of time.

Don't make things difficult for me~
[especially by attacking on my weaknesses]
Because you'll be falling into the trap I set for you...
Or I could do acts of inhumane behaviour..

I wear a mask if I need to defend myself...
It's easy because of my 'split personality' and my so-called passion for acting...

It seemed like AAA was/is the perfect band for me because their slogan 'Attack All Around' was so attractive for someone who had to work hard...
They just caught my eye among the newcomers at a-nation 05 with as many members,boys and girls present.

I bought POPTEEN APRIL ISSUE!
It's the Hongkong/Taiwan version and so it's in Chinese~
Here's what attracted me to the magazine initially:

I printed my research without changing the printer's pre-set status of Colour to Black & White!
It cost me 10 times the amount that I was supposed to pay!Argghhh~
Colour-50 cents per page Black&White-5 cents per page
Ended up paying $3 instead of 30 cents!

Hairstyles of AAA that have become popular!
AAA wore them before everyone~

Nissy's haircut in Jan 2006:

It's something what the guys have their hair like now...
Shaving off one side of the hair and a long fringe at the other side...

Uno's hair in June 2006:

It's known as the 'Helmet Head'...
It's just a near shoulder-length bobbed hairstyle...

Urata's hair in Aug 2006:

It's a blonde tint on the fringe of the hair while the rest of the hair is balck/brown...

I think the other members of AAA have wore some nice hairstyles too but they are not as popular as those above...

Spice Girls are coming back~
They are my favourite english pop band!
I used to listen to English Pop way back when Backstreet Boys,N'Sync,Spice Girls,Britney Spears,etc existed...
It was the peak of UK/Britain Pop..
Then,I shifted to anime music,followed by Jpop and Korean Drama songs...
And a little of Chinese Pop here and there..
[But I wasn't really as fond of it,only ok]
I think I'm a bit back to English Pop...
I'm quite fond of Avril Lavigne...
I just like songs by different artistes in different genres in the English music industry...
Anyway,AAA is a euro-beat and R&B group so it's kind of English~LOL

Yukari Goto left AAA on 11th June 2007.

I had a feeling always that it was difficult for 8 people to hold their hands together till the end of AAA...
Some people would have to let go and leave...
And unfortunately, it happened to Yukari Goto..
Avex stated that she left for health reasons, which also accounts for her absence the few times before...
Her blog and profile has been removed.

JC life is so busy![and annoying too]
Project Work is ongoing and my group haven't got our GPP approved yet while all the other groups in my class already have!
Haiz~

Studying at home for my mid-year exams[held at the end of the June holidays] is even tougher!
There are a lot of things to study for Chemistry,Maths and Economics,thanks to wandering off in lectures and not doing assignments in tutorials...
I've lost my way...
I'm even more confused now than in the first 3 months...
At least there was someone[Li Qiao!] there to spur me on during the first 3 months!

I'll have to transform to Genki Girl soon and the 'success' band must come back on my forehead fast so that I'll have fighting spirit again:D
But currently I am still hibernating and have fallen into the hands of 'Pokemon Pearl' and Nintendo DS...
Oh yeah,I 'gachapon'-ed an mini Nintendo DS yesterday for $2 and i got the light blue one which is identical to the one I'm playing with!

I miss the days where we chatted with our friends[sometimes,for very long] over the phone...
Rather than the short messaging we use now to communicate with each other..
We lost the opportunity to improve our friendships...
